A good drive or long iron sets up a short iron shot to a relatively flat green. Bunkers guard the right side of the fairway as well as front and back-right of the green. A creek runs along the left side of the green, with out of bounds at the back of the green.
Hole 2 - Par 5, 458 metres

The tee shot must miss the trees on the left and the fairway bunker on the right. The fairway slopes from left to right so your second shot should be aimed towards the left side. The elevated green is long and narrow.
Hole 3 - Par 3, 183 metres

The tee shot on this long par three must carry the water to reach a two-tiered elevated green. Missing the green on the right can lead to a large score.
Hole 4 - Par 3, 208 metres

Swains Creek runs along the right side of the longest par 3 at Chatswood. At least it's downhill!
Hole 5 - Par 3, 174 metres

The creek continues along the right side of the 5th hole. Three bunkers guard the green on a hole that plays longer than it looks.
Hole 6 - Par 3, 137 metres

Known to members as "The Wedding Cake", the green on the 6th is perched in front of an imposing rock face. Long shots can bounce anywhere, while short shots run back down the hill.
Hole 7 - Par 3, 148 metres

Recently redesigned, the elevated green is protected by two well positioned bunkers. A hole where you don't want to miss on the left.
Hole 8 - Par 5, 472 metres

A straight tee shot is required on the 8th to miss the trees and the Lane Cove River, which runs the length of the hole on the right. Swains Creek cuts through the fairway in front of a long, narrow green surrounded by bunkers.
Hole 9 - Par 4, 270 metres

This uphill par-4 features a small sloping green guarded by a deep bunker.

This uphill par-4 features a small sloping green guarded by a deep bunker.
Hole 11 - Par 3, 114 metres

This short hole presents a very narrow target. The steep slope on the right will reject errant shots. The left side is guarded by trees and bunkers.
Hole 12 - Par 4, 404 metres

The hardest hole on the course, this dogleg par 4 requires a long, straight tee shot. The approach shot must carry across a gorge to reach a long, narrow green.
Hole 13 - Par 3, 119 metres

The large green on this short par 3 can make for some long putts.
Hole 14 - Par 3, 175 metres

A difficult hole to get near the pin. A tee shot hit too long can reach the hazard, while a short one might find one of the two bunkers. The green is steeply sloped from right to left.
Hole 15 - Par 4, 280 metres

This view from behind the green shows the tree that guards the right side of the fairway. A good tee shot will stop on the left edge of the fairway, avoiding the three bunkers.
Hole 16 - Par 3, 144 metres

The left side is protected by a tall gum tree and Swain's Creek, so right-handed players will want to hit a draw into this tight par 3.
Hole 17 - Par 4, 210 metres

A short par 4 that can be reached with your tee shot if you can avoid the bunkers on both sides. Many players will want to lay up with a mid-iron and play a wedge into the hilltop green.
Hole 18 - Par 4, 324 metres

The tee shot must negotiate a narrow chute to reach a wide uphill fairway. A gum tree guards the green on the right with a deep bunker behind it. The green is steeply sloped from back to front.
