Well established course featuring magnificent grass greens and 24 bunkers throughout. The front nine is gently undulating and played through tall timbers, complete with water crossings and a creek meandering around. An excellent test for golfers is the 4th hole “Gallipoli”, notorious for the massive bunker located at the foot of the green. The back nine is lined with Golden Wattle, Pine and Gum trees. Nigel Douglas formerly of Ross C. Watson has completed a masterplan of the Golf course, construction of four new holes will commence in August 2002. Neat dress code. | | |
| Hole 4 - Par 4 - 392m |

Known as 'Gallipoli' for the massive bunker in front of the green, this is the hardest rated hole at Barham. A long drive required here to even contemplate reaching the large elevated two tiered green in regulation. |
|
| Hole 5 - Par 4 - 282m |

A short dogleg right par 4 of 280 metres, this hole is rated 2nd easiest at Barham but with a creek bordering the right hand side of the fairway and green, many promising rounds have come unstuck at this little 'sleeper'. |
|
| Hole 6 - Par 4 - 308m |

Rated the easiest hole on the course, this is a short straight away par 4 requiring a good drive followed by a short iron to a small green, bunker on the left. |
|
| Hole 7 - Par 5 - 471m |
The first and only par 5 on the front nine the tee shot and second shot nee to be accurate to avoid the creek which runs down the left of the fairway. After the drive, a short iron is needed to reach a very tricky green. |
|
| Hole 8 - Par 4 - 308m |
A Shortish Par 4 with the tee shot over the creek that also meanders down the right side of the fairway. The second shot to a large elevated green offers a birdie opportunity. |
|
| Hole 10 - Par 3 - 165m |
A par 3 of 165 metres to a saucer green that is always difficult to hit in regulation, a par here is a good start to the back nine. |
|
| Hole 11 - Par 4 - 372m |
A medium length par 4 this is one of the best holes at Barham. The tee shot has to be accurate to avoid trees on the right and fairway bunkers on the left. The hole doglegs to the right. |
|
| Hole 12 - Par 5 - 494m |
The 12th hole is the longest and most highly regarded Par 5 at Barham. Measuring nearly 500 metres, two good shots are required to reach the dogleg before an approach to a large green bunkered on the right. |
|
| Hole 13 - Par 4 - 362m |
The second rated hardest hole at Barham. A par 4 dogleg right to a small green. No bunkers on this hole but if you miss the green with your approach it is very difficult to save par. |
|
| Hole 14 - Par 5 - 445m |
The middle pin of three par 5's on the back nine, this hole requires accurate play from the tee to the green, fairway bunkers either side must be avoided before playing to a small un-bunkered green. |
|
| Hole 15 - Par 3 - 192m |
The longest and most testing of the par 3's at Barham. Your regulation tee shot to the green will a true test of your skill. |
|
| Hole 16 - Par 5 - 448m |
The longest and most testing of the par 3's at Barham. Your regulation tee shot to the green will a true test of your skill. |
|
| Hole 17 - Par 4 - 361m |
A very good par 4 slight dogleg to the left. The fairway has two large bunkers on the right that need to be the avoided to allow a shot to a large green that is bunkered front and right. |
|
| Hole 18 - Par 3 - 132m |
A great finishing par 3 that has provided many dramatic moments in the Barham Border Open Pro-Am and other championships over the years. A seven or eight iron tee shot to a large sloping green heavily bunkered front and left and dropping away severely at the back. A three here and you venture to the 19th hole very contented. |
